WOMEN CELL

The Women Cell has been created with the aim of promoting gender equality, ensuring the well-being and safety of female students, and addressing any issues or concerns they may face on campus. We believe in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected.

The Women Cell is a dedicated platform that provides a safe space for women to voice their opinions, seek guidance, and receive assistance regarding any matters related to their rights, personal development, and overall welfare. The primary objectives of the Women Cell are as follows:

1. Gender Sensitization: Conducting awareness programs, workshops, and seminars to sensitize the college community about gender-related issues, stereotypes, and biases. We aim to create a more inclusive campus where everyone understands and respects the importance of gender equality.


2. Support and Counselling: Offering confidential support and counseling services to female students who may be facing challenges, such as harassment, discrimination, or personal difficulties. We are committed to ensuring that every student feels supported and has access to the resources they need.


3. Safety and Security: Collaborating with the college administration and local authorities to enhance the safety and security measures on campus. We encourage all students to report any incidents of harassment or misconduct so that appropriate action can be taken promptly.


4. Empowerment and Skill Development: Organizing workshops, seminars, and training sessions to empower women and enhance their skills in various areas. We aim to provide opportunities for personal and professional growth, helping our students to become confident, self-reliant, and successful individuals.

The Women Cell is open to all female students of J.N. College, Pasighat. We encourage you to actively participate in the activities and initiatives organized by the cell. Your involvement will not only benefit you personally but also contribute to building a more equitable and inclusive campus for everyone.
